Anne Meltzer, 80, died at her home Sunday afternoon. Born in the Bronx to Benjamin and Mae Meltzer, she had lived most of her life in Syracuse. Anne was a teacher in the Syracuse City Schools until retiring. She was a long time member of Temple Adath Yeshurun. Anne is survived by her nephews Dan, and John (Jessica); and her cousin
Donna (John) Breazzano.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 20 in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery. www.sisskindfuneralservice.com

Miss Meltzer was my first grade teacher at Croton. I believe I was in her first class. I always wondered if she stayed around Syracuse. She is one of the few teachers that I remember clearly. I am so sorry for your loss. Praying for your family.
