Clifford Nelson Gould, 66, died Saturday evening~ he was one of God’s chosen people. He was the son of Earle and Betty Gould. A special needs student, he attended The McCarthy School and Lawrence Road School of N. Syracuse. For the past 30 years Clifford was a resident of a group home first on Westcott Street and more recently in Baldwinsville. He taught himself to read, had a marvelous sense of humor and was a dedicated fan of SU sports, The Yankees, and quiz shows.
He is survived by his brothers Eric, and A. Sheldon (Rose); and two nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11am on Wednesday, October 10 at Sisskind Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with the family immediately prior to the service from 10:30 to 11am at the funeral chapel, 3175 E. Genesee Street, Syracuse. Burial will be in the Temple Concord section of Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be made to ARC of Onondaga County. www.sisskindfuneralservice.com

I'm a grandson of R' Avraham Eli Hacohen Lieberman. I was visited the home of the deceesed some 37 years ago, when his mother was still alive. My deepest sympaties to the family. Unfortunately, I cannot attend the funeral, since I'm still in Moscow, Russia. However, my son Shmuel, who is Hamilton, will attend.
