Leona Wilson, 87, of Palm Beach Gardens, and Syracuse passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer ’s disease on Wednesday morning at Menorah Park.

Born in Brooklyn to Thomas and Rose Horowitz, Leona was the beloved wife of the late Alan H. Wilson; the loving mother to Karen (Dave Cole) Amitrano, and Robert (Kathleen) Wilson; grandmother to Jonathan (Melissa), Philip, Alanna, Henry, and Benjamin; and sister-in-law to Leon Rosenberg. She was predeceased by her sister Marilyn Rosenberg

Services at Temple Concord are private for the immediate family. Burial will be in the Temple Concord section of Woodlawn Cemetery. Remembrances in memory of Leonas memory may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, or Menorah Park. www.sisskindfuneralservice.com
