Regina “Reggie” Meadvin, 91, died Thursday evening in Lexington, MA with her family by her side. Born in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Syracuse since 1956 when she and her late husband Edward, of blessed memory, were married.
She was a longtime member of Temple Beth El, and the sisterhood of the Temple; a member of the Syracuse JCC; and active with the senior exercise group through the Town of Dewitt.
Her family includes her daughter Hildy (Paul) Mazur, her grandchildren Michael, Andrew, Matthew, and Alyssa; her sister Lillian Gottlieb, and her brother Morris Brown.
Funeral services will be at noon on Wednesday, January 25 at Sisskind Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with the family from 11AM to Noon on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral chapel, 3175 E. Genesee Street.
Burial will be in Temple Beth El Cemetery.
Shiva will be observed Wednesday from 4 to 8PM and Thursday from 1 to 4PM at Reggie’s home in Dewitt .
