Mim was a Hebrew school teacher in White Plains and later did volunteer work for the Brighton Central School District in suburban Rochester, helping learning-disabled students.

We were saddened to read of your mother's passing. It certainly brought back fond memories of our B'nai B'rith activities and your father's leadership role in the lodge and dedication to editing our lodge bulletin and then a bulletin for our retired men's group. They were both dedicated to doing good. I'm sure you have many treasured memories.

Dear Rachel And Family, I just wanted to send my sincere condolences on the loss of your dear Gramma and Mom. I just read the obit posted and was surprised to find out that she worked in the Learning Disability Program for Brighton Schools. Our paths must have crossed somewhere because I also volunteered in the same program at Brookside school . I wish you all a Happy Pesach and hope to see you soon. . Alec' s Gramma.
