Rhoda Hollander, 92, of Delray Beach FL; formerly of Jackson Heights, NY; diedJuly 26, 2017 in Delray Beach. Rhoda was born in NYC to Jack and Deborah Schiller. During her professional career she had been the Comptroller for The Jackson Heights Country Club.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Maxwell., her sister Doris Sherman, and her brother-in-law Paul Sherman.
Suriviving are her son Howard (Linda) Hollander of Fayetteville, NY; her daughter
Lynn (Michael) Wolf of Old Westbury, NY; her grandchildren Aileen (Scott) Mikolajczyk, Jonathan (Alison) Hollander, Matthew (Erica) Wolf, Douglas (Kathryn) Wolf; and great-grandchildren: Josephine Mikolajczyk, and Nolan Hollander
Funeral,services and burial were in Florida.
Memorial contributions may me made to The American Heart Assn., or FORCE: Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered.
Shiva will be observed Wednesday, August 2; and Thursday, August 3 from 2-4, and 7-9 PM at her son Howie and Linda Hollander's home.
